This two-day hands-on workshop is for professional decorative painters and finishers who want to add genuine metal work to their portfolio. Metallo Fuso is not a paint or a metallic effect. It is a two-component coating made with real metallic alloy powders in Silver, Copper, Brass, and Bronze. The result is a surface that is literally metal: troweled, mechanically sanded, and polished to a finish that captures and reflects light in a way no imitation product can replicate.
Over the four hours each day, students will mix and apply Metallo Fuso using the proper technique and complete five professional studio samples to take home and put directly in front of clients. The class covers application, pot life management, the multi-stage sanding and polishing process, and proper sealing and protection. Commercial applications, durability, and client conversations around spec and pricing are all part of the discussion.
